It’s showtime! Cheadle care home welcomes Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport for some carnival fun

Care UK’s Abney Court will be hosting its very own carnival event open to the local community, with live entertainment from ‘The Ultimate Circus Experience’. Residents at a Cheadle care home marched to the beat of their own steel drum for a special celebration.

Care UK’s Abney Court, in Abney Hall Park, hosted its very own carnival-inspired event, complete with food stalls and circus-themed entertainment that had everyone watching in amazement.

In true carnival style, performers from The Ultimate Circus Experience wore brightly coloured outfits as they shared impressive magic tricks, breathtaking contortionist acts and showstopping performances – leaving everyone wowed.

Amcia Hara, Home Manager at Abney Court, said: “Our carnival-themed event was a great success, and we loved hosting our very own party to kick-start the new year.

“Here at Abney Court, we are always planning new and exciting activities for residents to enjoy. Hosting a carnival-style extravaganza with circus performers showcasing all of their marvellous tricks was a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together.

“We’d like to thank everybody for coming, especially the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport – and our wonderful performers, Ultimate Circus Experience!”
