Pokusevskis began life in Heaton Moor in 2005 as a delicatessen. Since then the original shop has developed into an all day eatery. In 2013 we welcomed Moises Catena into our team. Moises joined us as Director and Executive Chef of Pokusevski + Catena. Originally from Southern Spain, Moises brings an authentic, creative Spanish twist to Pokusevski + Catena that complements our offer. We may have evolved, grown and added new elements to our menus, but we haven’t changed our love of good quality, home made delicious food.
The original Back's Delicatessen was a famous Brooklyn establishment, run by the great grandfather of the present owner, in 1920s New York. The site of the current deli has been a food emporium for over the last 50 years. Located in the heart of Heaton Moor, we are an independent delicatessen specialising in continental foods, fresh produce, wine and beers. As well as serving the local community our fresh produce and fine foods, we also deliver a wide range of quality products across Manchester, Cheshire and beyond.
