Police CCTV appeal after credit card stolen in burglary

Police believe this man may b able to help their investigation into the incident

Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a credit card was stolen in a burglary then used in a nearby shop.

Officers have released an image of a man they say might have ‘vital information’ which could help the investigation. It comes following a break-in on Reddish Road in Stockport at about 2pm on Monday, October 21.

Credit cards were stolen then used to buy goods in a nearby store.

Pc Will Carroll said: “We understand the distress burglaries can have on victims in their own homes and after receiving the report of the incident we have tried to secure evidence to identify those responsible, as we remain committed on investigating all available lines of enquiry.

“We are now able to appeal to the local community to come forward if they remember anything in the area at the time or if they recognise this man. Or if the person recognises themselves, please do get in touch with us.”
