A busy road in Stockport was closed off by police this afternoon following a crash. One person was injured in the two car collision on Brinnington Road in Bredbury.
Police shut off the road from Truro Avenue to Middlesex Road for several hours whilst accident investigation work was carried out.

Traffic was diverted away from the area, with a number of bus routes diverted.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said one person was injured in the crash but said their injuries are not believed to be serious at this stage.
