Man suffers ‘serious injuries’ – police, paramedics and air ambulance at scene

A cyclist has suffered ‘serious injuries’ in a crash in Stockport today.

A large number of emergency service vehicles and an air ambulance attended the collision on Bramhall Lane, in Cale Green.

Witnesses said they saw around 10 police cars at the scene, as well as one ambulance.

A section of the road has been sealed off by police.

A GMP spokesman said: “Police were called at 11.12am on Thursday 23 July 2020 to a report of a collision involving a Land Rover and a cyclist on Bramhall Lane, Stockport.

“The Land Rover was in collision with the cyclist before colliding with a house.

“The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-changing injuries.

“The driver of the Land Rover remained at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.”

Police vehicles can also be seen blocking the road.
