According to the reports, the Latvian airline called airBaltic is done with all the preparations for launching its scheduled and direct flights from Machester to Riga. The flights will begin from 29th March 2020.
These flights will facilitate all those passengers who want to travel to the Latvian capital, Riga. There will be more than 70 destinations covered from Riga to Scandinavia, Middle East, Russia, and Europe.
The chief executive officer of this airline said that Riga is an amazing city that has always served as a hub for business centers and is the key destination of the Baltic States. The further added that this city as a lot to offer to both leisure and business travelers. Flights to this city will help the airline company create a strong and direct connection within the company’s already established network. The passengers will be able to fly with ease and affordability between both the cities. The company will take the passengers on Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
The commercial director at Manchester Airport, Stephen Turner has added that it feels great to see airBaltic starting its direct flights from Manchester to Riga. It will be a great feeling to see a carrier with the Latvian flag coming onto this route. This is going to provide an added flexibility and option for around 22mn people in this catchment.
These flights will take place 4 times a week. All the flights will be operated on the brand new and luxurious Airbus A220-300. The passengers will enjoy their flights on more comfortable and wider seats, greater space for their hand luggage, larger windows and much more.
