For lovers of the spectacular, this for you! A true orchestral spectacle calling for 5 flutes, 5 clarinets, 5 oboes, 5 bassoons. 8 horns , 6 trumpets, 2 timpanists and 2 harps. Oh, and a massive great hammer! This may be the largest orchestra ever to play at the town hall and the hammer blow in Mahler’s 6th is one of the great dramatic moments of classical music.
